About
My name is Alexis , and I am behind Acebau .
I'm a computer engineer by training, but I've always had one foot elsewhere: in video games, new technologies... and a bunch of homemade electronic tinkering.
At first, I just wanted to buy a 3D printer to make a smart food bowl for my beloved cat. And then, as often happens, the project went off the rails. I got my hands dirty with design, materials, shapes... and I realized I'd found my thing: creating beautiful and useful objects, from A to Z.
This is how Acebau was born, a contraction of “ah c'est beau!” — a simple, honest name that says what there is to say.
What I do
I model, I print, I assemble, I package.
Each piece is made with care in my workshop in the Landes region.
The objects are turnkey :
- The lamps arrive with their suitable LED bulb.
- The planters come with their inner pot (designed with drainage holes). Your plant stays dry, just the way it likes it .
- Furniture knobs can also be used as hooks — screws and nuts included
- The pendant lights come with wall plugs, Wago, canopy and cable clamp, ready to be installed by an electrician... or by you.
Everything is designed so that you can enjoy it straight away, without having to tinker with anything. And if you ever break a part? Don't panic, everything is repairable and replaceable .
Why I do this
I wanted to offer objects that were accessible, durable and had that little something extra.
Eye-catching shapes, responsible materials, and real attention to detail.
Each collection has its own coherence, but the objects mix, complement each other, and accumulate piece by piece.
You can create your own universe, at your own pace, according to your desires.
I believe in less but better , in fair production, without stock or excess.
Everything is made to order, from bio-sourced materials, designed to last — and to live in your home for a long time.
